At seminars people often ask me, "How do I fit everything in?" Here is my answer:
I rise early, approximately 5am and have a glass or two of good water. After which I have my quiet time of study and prayer with our Creator. Next I take a dessertspoon* of BarleyMax™ direct into my mouth. Most mornings I go for a brisk walk for a minimum of three to four kilometers or use the rebounder. After a shower and relaxation, Catherine and I have our first meal for the day**. This consists of a fresh fruit smoothie with nuts, seeds, flaxseed oil and occasionally a grain, mainly millet.
About one hour after our first meal (during which time every second day I am juicing carrots, and other vegetables in my Green Star Juicer™), I begin with my first glass of carrot/vegetable juice and I continue to drink a glass of vegetable juice every hour thereafter. In between some of these juices I drink a glass of water then half an hour before our second meal I have another dessertspoon of BarleyMax™.
For our second meal which is our main meal (evening), Catherine and I have a HUGE salad, and often but not always, a small amount of cooked food for example, jacket potato, kumara, pumpkin, or some other vegetable. We occasionally have a delightful vegetarian dish, rice etc. as the 15% cooked. By personal choice, I no longer consume animal products. [I do not eat anything that had a face or can escape from the plate].
Note: We have learnt NOT TO DRINK with meals as this dilutes the stomach fluids and hinders digestion.
THAT'S IT! TWO MEALS A DAY! (APART FROM AND INCLUDING RUNNING A BUSINESS AND ADEQUATE REST!)
* For those just beginning to take BarleyMax™, the recommended dosage is a teaspoon serving.
** There is controversy about which two meals and no in between snacking. Breakfast - lunch, versus lunch – dinner or breakfast - dinner? What is important, I believe, is the Two Meals. I started out with No breakfast and continued this way for three years, and my body detoxified rapidly. I believe this was right and vital for my recovery from Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a Cancer of the Lymph system. However, toward the end of the three years I found myself fading in the afternoons, and since having made the change to having breakfast and dinner, I now last through the day.
