I cant believe it has taken me this long to try this recipe! I have seen it popping up all over the place for a really long time now so last week as I found myself with an abundance of avocados (just a tad over excited that the season is here) I had to finally make it. The result…. Wow, this is definately going to become a regular in our household over summer!

(I would recommend the below quantities as a two person serving, serving size is something we are constantly working on in this house so we used it as a small four person serving… next time I will definately double the recipe its that good)

Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
6 pitted dates
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1/2 cup natural unsweetened yoghurt
2 ripe bananas
2 tablespoons almond butter

Garnishing

The options are endless, we put aside a bit of extra yoghurt and topped with fresh strawberries and walnuts. You could easily replace with any berry or nuts even a sprinkling of cacao powder or coconut.

Blend all ingredients until smooth, if using your Tribest Personal Blender you can blend each one in the jar you will serve in, otherwise use the bigger cup and pour into individual serving dishes. Chill for at least 1 hour, garnish & serve.
